Treating Yourself
Dieser Beitrag ist auch in deutscher Sprache verfügbar.
Do you remember what your favourite meal was as a child? Or your favourite treat? Mom’s homemade cookies? Jell-O? Pancaces?
How about finding a recipe for it and treating yourself with your favourite childhood meal, this week? If your taste has changed, since then, you may vary the recipe to suit the current preferences of your inner child.
Did you already let your heart sing, today?
Having it right now – toast with peanut butter (and I added coffee for my adult inner child)! :-*
Sounds yummy, Kim! Had coffee, too, today, and some Rote Grütze with rice cream. Mmmmh!
Okay I’m good on this one. I do treat myself. Not every day but probably most of them. It is really important. For example I will (shortly before I retire) eat a couple of my own homemade fudge oatmeal cookies with a glass of milk. I usually got to sleep a little while later with a smile on my face! 🙂
Hej, again, Penny! 🙂
Yes, I agree: It is important to treat ourselves. It supports at least my heart in singing.
Homemade fudge oatmeal cookies sounds wonderful! I think I have to start a blog for recipies to treat the heart, one day, and then collect (of course only with permission) all those wonderful ideas that are mentioned, here…
Hi Stefanie! I remember homemade apple pie my mom used to make. It is a delicious treat and memory. Will have to put that on my list this week. Yummie post. 🙂
Hello Cathie!
Homemade apple pie sounds delicious! I think I will have to research some recipies when I read all the delightful comments. 🙂
yes, I made pear and almond tart for the first time!@
Hi Valerie!
That is great! Hope you enjoyed it!
I’ll have a vegan and organic variety of soup with noodles, later, which my inner child likes a lot. 🙂
