The Feeling of Home
Please read the complete post on Kim Kersey Blog.
Whatever brings home to our heart – a place, a song, a mountain, a river, a smell, a favorite dish – being there in that moment is a very nice feeling.
When I allow my attention to stay with that feeling, it feels good. It feels good and right to notice you are home.”

Today, my dear husband Kim has published a blog post on how he found The Feeling of Home here, in Hamburg, Germany.
What makes you feel at home?
Much love,
Steffi
See for me home is London, even though I am German but I have lived here for over 30 years and just love it. Same feeling as you Kim!
Hej Ute!
That’s so great that you found your heart’s home in London!
I’ve met many people who found their home away from the place where they were born. In fact, for a whle I thought something is wrong with me because I did not want to live anywhere else than in Hamburg. (I enjoy travelling other places, though!) Then, I realized, that I simply was born exactly where my heart is at home.
Turns out that everything came together perfectly… 😉
Much love to you in London,
Steffi
Yes, dear friend home is where your heart is. I have heard this so often.
But only of late did I realize what that really meant. Most of my life I move about
and I longed to feel at home.
I found places that gave peace for while and shared moments that felt safe and joyous.
But home always felt just out of being in in my presence.
Now that so much has moved from my life and I stand with self, I realize that I am home
every moment I allow all of me to be present in grace and ease.
In this time of change home is a precious as been home with self in my own presence.
Not in memories or expectations. Just present and in acceptance of all that I am.
Matter of choice of being here and now in love with self.
Much love from Merlin and I
Hi Simone – and Merlin, too!
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your insights about feeling at home.
True, being present in the Now with awareness and acceptance makes it much easier (if not possible in the first place) to feel at home.
Much love,
Steffi
