Ostara 2021 – Enjoying The Light
Last Saturday was Ostara, the Spring Equinox, when day and night are of equal length. From now until Mabon, the Autumnal Equinox, the days are longer than the nights.
Many people have told me that the light is doing them as much good at the moment as it is doing me.
Of course it helps if we get support from outside, for example through the season or the weather. But I have noticed that it is also good to remember that we all have a light switch inside of us. If we find out how to operate it and manage to let our own light shine, this may not only help us to experience more joy, to orient ourselves better and to better recognise solutions, but also the people we meet – no matter whether these encounters take place face to face, over the telephone or through the written word.
I was also reminded of the importance of paying attention to the beings and things around us.
A post I recently saw on Twitter illustrates why:
The other week, on St. Gudrun’s Day, which is also St. Patrick’s Day, Kim and I went for a little walk. There we also encountered a lot of light, right outside our front door.
I would like to share a few impressions from that, here.
With this in mind:
A Happy Ostara!
Are you ready to shine a bright light of awareness on the path of beingness, today?
