In recent months, I have often thought about the concept of integrity. It seems to me that it is being lost in the world at the moment. Or maybe not. Maybe we just get a golden opportunity to let our integrity shine.
Especially at a time when it seems so difficult to find orientation, I experience integrity as helpful, because it gives me direction. It functions like an inner compass. Without integrity, it is easy to get lost and feel lost. But if I connect with my own truthfulness, my inner voice that guides me even in difficult times, and integrate it, I find my way again.
In my view, integrity is one of the few things one cannot have just a little bit of. Either you have integrity or you do not. Just a little integration of truth and sincerity does not make us have integrity. Only the pursuit of complete truthfulness, that is, the complete integration of truth, holds integrity in my experience.
Integrity therefore requires a desire to find truth and an attitude that allows us to experience our optimal balance.
But is there such a thing as the one, ultimate truth?
Well, perhaps it is like this:
Perhaps integrity means the integration of the individual aspect of the universal truth that we are. Every person, every being is such an individual aspect of the universal. And all these aspects together form the universal truth.
The individual aspects may differ from each other, but only when all have their place does the universal truth emerge.
If we each integrate the individual aspect of the universal truth that we are and know the place that is given to us, this gives us orientation.
If we all live our integrity, this leads to peace.
This is just an idea.
What is your idea of integrity? Are you truthful with yourself and others? Are you ready to shine a bright light of awareness on the path of beingness, today? Much Love, Steffi
