Happy Imbolc!
Dieser Beitrag ist auch in deutscher Sprache verfügbar.
While I am transforming in my snail shell the wheel of the year in the northern hemisphere is turning towards the light, again. Today the Celtic calendar is celebrating the return of the light and the start of spring with the Imbolc feast. For some, light equals consciousness. In this year 2013 where everything is new and we are accessing realms we have never accessed, before, it is a very new consciousness that is streaming in.
For those amongst you who wish to celebrate this I would like to share a video which just reached my inbox – feel free to sing along and spread love and light onto our mother earth and into the universe.

When I was young we used to celebrate today as the mass of Light. Now society doesn’t celebrate anymore. Only Carnival and NewYear. And going on holiday, and making city trips, and many pictures, because our memory will all mix up these trips as a dull gray party of not having to go to work. We are not allowed to rest anymore in the weekend. All the things we must do and cannot do without belonging to … to what?
Am I nostalgic, or just putting my finger on the painfulness of western society?
Love and LIGHT !!!
Hi Bert!
I am wishing you a happy Mass of Light, then!
To me what you are saying does not sound nostalgic at all. I believe the time has come for the “western society” – and all those that practice industrial and commercial values as priority over the one of enjoying a healthy life filled with love – to slow down the pace and allow more awareness and space for the desires of the heart. I believe in replenishing weekends and memorable holidays rather than in working until heart attack and drink until black out (tersely spoken).
In other words: I hear you. 🙂
Much love to you, too!
