Drawing Inspiration
Dieser Beitrag ist auch in deutscher Sprache verfügbar.
Spring is springing and despite still fairly cool temperatures Nature is virtually bursting of life, colour and sound. On warm days the first insects are coming by for a visit. Meanwhile the first flowers are bursting open and paint the world colourful. The soundtrack is given by the most beautiful bird song, occasionally accompanied by the ringing of nearby church bells.
Albeit I still cannot regularly go on my walks, I am enjoying this time of year. I am letting the light of Spring suffuse me and so far it seems, my sun allergy has gotten much better which I attribute to the changes in my diet that I have mentioned in previous posts. It seems that for some of us certain foods can cause a surplus of Vitamin D3 in the body, which is, if I remember this correctly, active vitamin D – the kind most people generate through sunlight. Although we all need vitamin D the dosage, as with most things in life, makes the poison, and too much of it can cause problems. Hopefully, I am now able to maintain a better balance.
Also, some of the mess that has been lingering in my life for the past five years seems to be easing up on me. Additionally, I am experiencing more support from kind people and often from unexpected sources. It is hard work, all right, but there is a space emerging that allows me to be at peace, despite everything else. Also, I see this peace shifting what I am experiencing in and with the world around me, and it is creating a space where I can be me, be present, be creative, just be. This I experience as utterly healing.
Some of the messy stuff of the past five years still exist – and this is not exactly a small part, either. But it seems to impact me less – at least currently. All I can do with it is to ask for help in prayer and meditation and to allow support as well as change without really knowing how this is going show in my life. Like so many other things, trust and faith are key, here, as well as maintaining a loving space for myself in my heart. This also helps with the insanity that momentarily seems to go on, around us, while the pandemic apparently places a magnifying glass on all the things that are in dire need of change, often already for a long time.
Guided by said trust and faith in my heart, filled with all those beautiful Spring impressions – the beautiful light, the fresh air, the lively sound and the vibrant colours, and returning to the experience of having being-space things are beginning to flow, again. There is some beautiful exchange going on and inspiration seems to pop up, everywhere. I am writing more, taking lots of photos, developing and creating recipes for tasty food and indulging in fun activities like those simple drawings you see in the featured image at the top as well as all over this blog post.
Where do you draw your inspiration?
You know, life itself is nothing less than creation, so even if we do not see ourselves as an artist, we actually are, in the most fundamental sense.
Are you ready to shine a bright light of awareness on the path of beingness, today?
Much Love,
Steffi

Love the drawings !!! ❤ ❤ ❤
Thank you, Kim!
As you know, it’s fun for me, to create them. ♥
Love the drawings! ❤ ❤ ❤
I didn’t realise you are drawing these beautiful flower borders yourself. I even wanted to ask you where you got them from. They are delightful . (I can see you used the Media and text block for this, it looks great.)
Even though it goes slowly it is good to read that you are feeling you are healing.
Keep it going, praying and meditating is essential.
Big hugs and I just loooove those drawn flowers, they are exquisite.
Aww, thank you, Ute!
A few years ago, I was looking for a way to give my blog an individual, creative touch. So I came up with those borders and little drawings. Recently, I felt inspired to draw a few more. It’s good to know that they bring delight as this was the intention.
And you are right, I used the “Media & Text”-Block, except for the last paragraph as I couldn’t get it to set images left and right with text in the centre.
Thank you, also, for the encouragement on the healing path. That means a lot to me. Praying and meditating are essential, indeed.
Big hugs right back at you! ♥
